Your progress stays on your device. There is no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Apple or Google handles checkout for the one optional purchase, and RevenueCat checks whether you own it, using a random identifier rather than your name or email.
1. Who we are
CaveCrawler, also listed as CaveCrawler: Deep Dark, is provided by Arc & Logic Solutions. This policy covers the game, this website and player support. Our privacy contact is Tiago Massita da Fonseca at games@arcandlogic.com.
2. Local game data
The app saves your camp and progress on your device: Embers, upgrades, explorer kits, lantern colors, bounties, waystones, Codex entries, records, daily expedition results, settings, any run in progress, and whether Full Cave is unlocked. The purchase service also keeps a randomly generated customer identifier on the device.
We do not upload this data to a server or cloud save. The game does not ask you to create an account or give your name, email address, contacts or location. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes your progress; device backups, if any, are controlled by your operating system.
3. Purchases & RevenueCat
The optional one-time Full Cave purchase is processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your payment-card details.
To check whether you own Full Cave, verify a purchase and restore it on another device, the app uses RevenueCat. When the game starts, and when you buy or restore, it connects to RevenueCat and sends a random app-user identifier, store purchase proof, product identifiers and transaction information. RevenueCat also receives purchase history and ordinary connection information, such as an IP address, and provides purchase-management and sales reporting tools.
The game does not send your name, email address, advertising identifier or gameplay progress to RevenueCat. Purchase records are associated with the random identifier, including when ownership is restored. Apple, Google and RevenueCat exchange transaction updates to validate ownership and reflect refunds.
Read the RevenueCat Privacy Policy, Apple Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy for their practices and controls.
4. No ads, analytics or tracking
CaveCrawler shows no ads and includes no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting service. It does not read your advertising identifier, does not ask for permission to track you across apps, and does not use your location, contacts, camera or microphone. The daily expedition is chosen from your device's date, without contacting a server.
5. Support & this website
If you email us, we receive your address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use these to respond, investigate issues and handle purchase or privacy requests. Please do not send passwords, verification codes, full payment-card details or unrelated personal information.
We do not add analytics, ads, contact forms, scripts or tracking cookies to this website. Images and fonts are hosted with the site. Cloudflare, our website host, processes technical connection information such as IP addresses, browser details and request logs to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. 7. Your rights & deletion requests
You can delete your local game data at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the game. There is no CaveCrawler account to close.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; or complain to a privacy regulator. Where applicable, we rely on performance of the services you request for purchases and support, legitimate interests for service security and fraud prevention, and compliance with legal obligations.
Send a request to games@arcandlogic.com with “CaveCrawler privacy request” in the subject. We may ask for information reasonably needed to find a record and verify your request. We can help with purchase records processed on our behalf, but cannot access or delete progress stored only on your device. Some requests must go to Apple, Google or another provider for information they control. Records required for legal or financial obligations may need to be retained.
8. Children
CaveCrawler has no chat, no account registration, no ads and no request for contact information, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Purchases go through the app store, where parents and guardians can require approval or turn off in-app purchases with the device's parental controls.
A parent or guardian can contact games@arcandlogic.com to ask about, review or request deletion of a child's information we hold, such as a support email. We may need reasonable verification that the requester is the child's parent or guardian.
9. Changes & contact
We will revise this policy and its effective date when our practices change, and give additional notice of material changes or seek consent where required.
